SuperStack II LinkConverter II 354 Converter - Token Ring four universal access ports
SuperStack® II
LinkConverter™ II SNA-to-LAN Converters
SuperStack® II LinkConverter™ II platforms let you integrate
large numbers of legacy SNA devices with today’s LAN systems. SuperStack II
LinkConverter II legacy SNA-to-LAN converters operate with the SuperStack II
system and other 3Com products to offer reliable, full integration of
established mainframe-based SNA network devices—including IBM hosts, FEPs,
controllers, and terminals—and Token Ring and Ethernet networks.
• SuperStack II LinkConverter II platforms provide LAN
conversion for SDLC, BSC, Async Alarms, or qualified logical link control (QLLC)
• Optional software licenses and manuals allow use of SuperStack
II LinkConverter II software that translates BSC data to support automated
teller machines (ATMs)
• SuperStack II LinkConverter II converters support SNA,
including IBM financial services platforms (3600, 4700), point-of-sale (POS)
terminals, and IBM network cluster controllers
• SuperStack II LinkConverter II converters provide
comprehensive support for IBM NetView management
• Optional SuperStack II power systems ensure fault tolerance
for up to four SuperStack II components in a stack
