LinkBuilder BRIDGE MicroModule Bridge MicroModule The LinkBuilder® Bridge MicroModule (3C16060) is an unmanaged local bridge that you can slide into the Transceiver Interface Module slot. Since it is unmanaged, this device is ideal for low-cost, simple bridging where sophisticated management capabilities are not needed.
The Bridge MicroModule has one port internal to the stack and one standard AUI port for external connections. It is self-learning (256 stations), requires no configuration, and provides full-rate forwarding, filsaleng, and packet buffering for optimum performance.
The MicroModule features full Ethernet filtering and forwarding performance and can be used to best advantage, with the LinkBuilder FMS TP products (3C16271, 3C16371) and LinkBuilder TP/12 Hub (3C16270).
It can also be used in the LinkBuilder FMS Fiber and Coaxial Hubs (3C16260, 3C16265, 3C16250), and the LinkBuilder Repeater (3C16210).
This bridge does not offer the Spanning Tree protocol.
