Standard Managment Functions
When a LinkBuilder MSH Managment Module is installed in the MSH chassis, the Smart Module supports standard managment functions.
The key features are:
- Each module supports a range of seft-test on power-up.
- Resilient links can be set up.
- The repeater can be dynamically reconfigured to connect to any one of the three backplane Ethernet buses, or isolated.
All ports can be configured using network managment.
- Statistics , detailing activity at each port, aid troubleshooting. These can be read using network managment.
- MAC source addresses are collected for each port.
- LAN Security Arhitecture can be set up to protect your network.
