The NETBuilder II Ethernet modules are customer-installable and provide a single interface for coax LAN connections; the modules easily convert to 10BASE-T twisted-pair or fiber cabling. The NETBuilder II MP Ethernet 6-port modules implement 3Com on-board processing power to boost performance. In addition, the 6-port 10BASE-T module provides high-density twisted-pair connections to build larger networks.

•The extended-format MP module is compatible with all three NETBuilder II chassis—4-slot, 8-slot, and 8-slot extended—with chassis capacity of 2, 4, and 8 MP modules, respectively
