SuperStack II NETBuilder 427 Multiprotocol Router

These upgradeable, compact SuperStack II routers or stand-alone ISDN routers offer multiprotocol routing, IP/IPX routing, and Boundary Routing technology, which ensures session control for SNA traffic. Every router includes software and installation documentation, an integrated 10BASE-T transceiver, connectors, and a rack mount kit to eliminate the need for extra cables and components. Support for Transcend network management software provides an easy-to-use graphical interface, and SNMP MIB II compliance supports many standard MIBs.

• SuperStack II NETBuilder 42x series routers support an ISDN Basic Rate Interface (BRI) and, for analog links, a DTE interface

• Router software supports industry-standard data compression and dial services to increase effective bandwidth, reduce dial-up line usage fees, handle peak traffic, and block superfluous remote traffic

• Upgradeability protects your investment and simplifies growth

ISDN—Integrated Services Digital Network—delivers the fast call setup needed by routing protocols. What’s more, ISDN transmission easily surpasses analog modem speeds. SuperStack II NETBuilder 42x and 52x series routers support two ISDN 64 Kbps data channels and one 16 Kbps control channel via the ISDN Basic Rate Interface (BRI). The two data channels can be used independently to connect to different locations, or they can be used as one logical connection to a remote site.
