IEEE 802.1D spanning tree protocol bridging for Gigabit Ethernet. Multicast packet Firewall to limit Broadcast storms. Port trunking support for 12 groups, with up to six Ports in a group. IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging for up to 126 groups of Port-based Virtual LANs (VLANS) Embedded simple Network management protocol (SNMP) management agent. Support for four RMON-1 groups: Ethernet statistics, history Events, and alarms.
